Ten years after a chance encounter in Tadoussac, Maude convinces Justin to replay the moment they almost kissed, gradually blurring the line between fantasy and reality.
RETOUR À TADOU is a bittersweet comedy about how we try to rewrite our past to reconcile with ourselves. Between comedy and fantasy, we follow Maude who, seeking closure, revisits a traumatic summer memory: an encounter on the beach in Tadoussac with Justin, ten years earlier. RETOUR À TADOU is about promises, amends, and unfulfilled desires. By inventing wounds for themselves and seeking to heal them, the characters reveal their deep humanity and universal need to find meaning, even within an illusion.
