Sandrine Béchade concentrates on the content of the projects.
Sandrine Béchade has signed several productions, including the documentary Lise Watier, une vie à entreprendre (2 x 1 hour at Radio-Canada and RDI). She has also written and directed Mrs. Watier’s first full-length biography, an interactive digital book with 210 pages of text, videos and various multimedia elements. In 2015, she conceptualized and developed the youth series L’Escouade Tadoussac for Roch Demers (Les Productions La Fête), a sequel to the film La Grenouille et la baleine, developed with Radio-Canada and Télé-Québec. She has also produced short portraits of contemporary Quebec artists such as Marc Séguin, Marcel Barbeau, Pierre Leblanc, Steven Siegel, Jacques Payette and many others.
Director, but also content producer and author, Sandrine develops TV series concepts or collaborates with writers and directors in various types of productions. In 2018, she wrote and directed the short film Ange & Ovni with Hélène Florent, Marcel Sabourin and Charles Lafortune, a film selected for Telefilm Canada’s Short on Talent program at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival.
